Nintendocore (o NEScore) es un subgénero musical
inspirado en el metalcore y los instrumentos
que acompañan a la musica de fondo de los videos juegos de 8-bits, mejor explicado en Nintendo
Entertainment System (NES). Es caracterizado por sonar igual a la música de los video juegos de 8-bit y chiptunes,
casi siempre combinados con otros géneros musicales, o mezclados con viejos
temas de juegos de NES.
El termino fue tomado en primer instancia por Nathan
Winneke, vocalista de una notable banda la cual ha sido etiquetada como
